Job Title: Production Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations within the factory. The role ensures that manufacturing activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in alignment with production schedules and quality standards.

The position focuses on managing and training production staff, coordinating workflows, and collaborating with other departments to improve processes and resolve operational issues. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in achieving production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

· Supervise, manage, and train production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.

· Coordinate production schedules and workflow to meet output targets efficiently.

· Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.

· Identify operational issues and work with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement solutions.

· Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance metrics.

· Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery.

· Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and recommend training or corrective actions as needed.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.

· Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety standards across the production floor.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

· Education:

BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Required Skills:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

· Strong ability to manage and train production teams.

· Experience in coordinating production schedules and workflows.

· Knowledge of safety standards, operational procedures, and quality control.

· Ability to identify and solve production-related issues systematically.

· Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

· Good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
