JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB Summary:

The Junior Combination Punching Operator is responsible for operating combination punching machines to cut and shape metal sheets according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role focuses on precision, efficiency, and quality while adhering to safety procedures.

Key responsibilities:

· Operate combination punching machines according to production plans and specifications.

· Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation accurately.

· Ensure precision in punching and cutting operations.

· Perform routine machine setup and adjustments under supervision.

· Conduct basic quality checks on finished components to ensure compliance with specifications.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· Record machine operations, production output, and maintenance activities.

· Identify defects or deviations and report to supervisors or quality control teams.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

· Education:

TVET in General Mechanics, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Combination Punching Machine Operation.

Required Skills:

· Minimum of  3 years of experience as a Combination Punching Machine Operator or similar role.

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

· Attention to detail and focus on precision.

· Knowledge of metalworking and machine operation.

· Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
