Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB Summary:

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance activities within the factory to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of machinery and equipment. The role focuses on supervising maintenance tasks, supporting troubleshooting activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities:

· Supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.

· Monitor the performance and condition of machinery and equipment.

· Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.

· Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

·  Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.

·  Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime.

·  Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

·  Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize disruptions.

·  Support training and guidance of maintenance staff.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

JOB SPECIFICATION       

Qualifications

· Education:

o   BA/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

 Required Skills:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or supervision role.

·  Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.

·  Ability to identify and support resolution of mechanical issues.

· Good organizational and supervisory skills.

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

· Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
